We study how your family lives. Your routines, your rhythms, where the friction is. From that understanding, we shape what the home needs to become. If an architect is needed, we bring in the right one, already aligned with the vision and the budget.
Architectural design and finish selection, guided by both aesthetics and how your family functions. Storage, flow, and daily functionality are designed in from the start, not added on later.
Transparent cost-to-build with no surprises. Because we've been involved since the beginning, the investment aligns with the vision. You understand exactly what you're investing in and why.
Construction with proactive, consistent communication. You are never left wondering what's happening in your home. We manage the build and coordinate with every partner to keep the vision intact.
The phase no one else offers. We coordinate post-build systems including AV, landscaping, and everything your home needs. Then we organize every space as you move back in, configured around how your family actually lives. Day one feels like home.

Kennedy & Co was founded on a simple observation: renovation firms care about the house. They measure success by the quality of the build, the beauty of the finishes, the speed of the timeline. And then they leave.
We saw what was missing. After the contractor drives away, the family is left with a beautiful space and no plan for how to live in it. Boxes unpacked into closets that weren't designed for them. A kitchen that looks stunning but doesn't match the way they cook. A home office that was an afterthought.
We start where others don't think to, with the family's life, and stay where others don't bother to. Through the move-in, the organization, the moment when a house becomes a home again.
We take on a handful of families each year in Davidson and Cornelius. The constraint is intentional. It's what allows the depth of care that defines every engagement.
